箱型褶皱是官珠沟常见褶皱形态之一。箱状褶皱是强应力下形成的地层褶皱变形。主要特征是：顶部平直，两翼近于平行的箱形构造。三叠纪薄板状灰岩箱形褶皱距今约2.5亿年至2.03亿年。
